PURPOSE BEYOND FASHION
Nola Marta is an Haute-couture designer with extensive experience in creating design-breakthrough in high quality hand-made technique, stitches and finishing. Her story of creating "Nola Marta" was through life-long search and learning.
Under the same brand as her name, she mainly explores asymmetrical design with touch of wit and flare to explore woman's beauty and strength from within. She believes in ethical fashion, and thus embodied the values on each of creations, from sourcing to finishing.
She collaborates with local artisans from all over Indonesia to incorporate local heritage with modern and highly fashionable design. Her latest collaboration brings Tapis and Maduaro techniques from Lampung, natural fabric coloring from Jogjakarta and Hand-woven technique from Kalimantan, to the fashion world stage of Indonesia fashion week and New York Fashion Week.
In Nola Marta, we believe on what we stand on our purpose, beyond profit, to produce, preserve and cultivate sustainable fashion.
